Step 1:
How to make strudel with apples from puff pastry? Prepare the products. If the dough is frozen, then take it out 15 minutes before cooking, it will have time to soften. You can take cane brown sugar, a caramel note will appear with it.

Wash, dry, peel the apples, remove the core and cut into cubes.
Step 3:
Put half the norm of sugar, cinnamon and flour in the apples. Mix it up. Leave for 20 minutes so that the apples give juice and the flour absorbs it.
Step 4:
Chop the nuts, leave the size according to your preferences. Large - if you want them to be felt, small - if not. Add the breadcrumbs and the remaining sugar to the nuts. Mix it up.
Step 5:
The puff pastry should already be soft and ready for rolling. Roll out one layer of dough on a floured surface. The thickness is about 2-3 mm. It is not necessary to make thicker, the dough in the strudel is traditionally thin. We get a rectangle.
Step 6:
Lay the filling on the long edge of the rectangle. First, put the nut mixture on top of it - apple.
Step 7:
Roll the dough into a roll, pinch the edges and fold down. The seam should also be at the bottom.
Step 8:
Put baking paper, silicone or Teflon mat - whatever you want on a baking sheet. You can just grease the baking sheet with oil. Transfer the strudel to the paper with the seam down. Similarly, form a strudel from the second sheet of dough and lay it side by side.
Step 9:
Beat the yolk with a fork or whisk with the addition of water. Brush the top of the strudels with the beaten yolk with a brush.
Step 10:
Make cuts on the strudels on top with a sharp knife before filling.
Step 11:
Bake the strudels in the oven at 190 degrees for about 40-45 minutes until golden brown. Be guided by the time and temperature of your oven. Serve the strudel warm, as it is traditionally done. Bon appetit!
