Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to make fish in cream sauce? Prepare the ingredients. You can take any red fish, as long as it is fillet. Wash the fish and greens well and dry them.
Step 2:
Season the red fish fillet with salt and sprinkle with ground pepper. Place the fillets in a baking dish. Arrange the thyme sprigs on top. Bake the fish in a preheated 200 degree oven for about 20 minutes. Keep it in the oven off for another 15 minutes.
Step 3:
Prepare the products for the sauce. Cream can be of any fat content, but the higher it is, the more intense the taste will be. Processed cheese, too, choose to your taste, but take it without additives. Olive oil can be replaced with another vegetable oil.
Step 4:
Peel and finely chop the garlic.
Step 5:
Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and fry the crushed garlic on it until a bright aroma appears. Do not fry for a very long time, since garlic starts to burn quickly enough, and we do not need such garlic in the sauce.
Step 6:
While stirring, pour the cream into the pan. Simmer, stirring, over low heat for about 10 minutes. The remaining olive oil in the pan when frying garlic should be completely combined with cream.
Step 7:
Add the melted cheese to the pan and mix until smooth. You can cut it into pieces, but it will disperse quickly from the effects of temperature.
Step 8:
Finely chop the washed and dried dill.
Step 9:
Remove the fish from the oven, transfer to a plate. Sprinkle dill on top and pour cream sauce over it. Enjoy your meal!
The fish can be cooked a little differently: do not cook everything separately, but prepare the sauce and pour it over the raw red fish and bake at 180 degrees for 25 minutes. With this method of cooking, it is better to cover the mold with foil so that the sauce does not evaporate much.
Such a dish will become a real center of attraction and the main dish on the festive table. I cooked this dish from large Karelian trout, but small fish weighing about 300 g will also do. They are more affordable, although they contain many small bones.
The most useful part of fish is its fat, it contains Omega-6 and Omega-3 fatty acids in an optimal ratio. They normalize cholesterol levels, strengthen vascular walls, prevent the development of atherosclerosis, strengthen immunity and normalize blood pressure. With regular use of dishes from the product, the beneficial properties of red fish are fully revealed — depression passes, the risk of developing oncology decreases, hypertensive crises disappear. Fish helps strengthen the arteries, makes the vessels more elastic, improves the work of internal organs.
How to properly cut a whole fish into fillets? Remove the tail, head and fins. Cut the carcass along the spine to the spine. Turn it on its side. With a sharp knife, cut the meat from the backbone bone. Turn the carcass over and cut the fillet from the other side. Clean the inside by removing the black film, as it is bitter and will spoil the taste. Rinse and be sure to dry well.
