Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to bake chicken in honey mustard marinade in the oven? To do this, prepare the necessary ingredients. For baking, you can take a whole chicken and chop it into pieces, or you can, like me, use its individual parts, for example, the shins.
Step 2:
To prepare the marinade, combine mustard and honey. If the honey is thick and candied, then it can be warmed up a little in a microwave oven.
Step 3:
For convenience, pour the mustard and honey mixture into a spacious bowl. Add a little vegetable oil. Add salt and spices to taste. Mix the marinade and roll all the chicken drumsticks in it so that they are evenly covered with it.
Step 4:
Any heat-resistant mold is suitable for baking. It can be metal, ceramic or glass. I will cook in a ceramic mold. Grease the baking dish with oil and put the prepared chicken into it. If the marinade remains, then distribute it over the chicken. Put a sprig of rosemary on top. If there is no fresh, you can sprinkle with dried. Cover the mold with foil and put it in the oven, preheated to 190 degrees for 45-50 minutes.
Step 5:
20 minutes before the end of cooking, remove the foil sheet so that the chicken is slightly browned. Be guided by your oven. Remove the finished chicken from the oven and serve it to the table. This can be done directly in the form or put the chicken on plates.
Step 6:
Baked chicken in honey mustard marinade is ready! How it smells magically! You can supplement it with baked potatoes, fresh vegetables and herbs. Bon appetit!
Chicken can be replaced with turkey or any other type of meat at your request. But keep in mind that in this case, the cooking time and calorie content of the dish will change.
Keep in mind that everyone's ovens are different. The temperature and cooking time may differ from those specified in the recipe. To make any baked dish successful, use useful information about the features of ovens !
