Cooking method
1. First of all, you need to turn on the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for preheating. For baking, the convection mode is best suited.
2. Sort the raisins and pour boiling water for about 10 minutes, so that it becomes softer and more fragrant. Then drain the water through a sieve or colander, and then dry the raisins by spreading them on a paper towel.
3. Wash ripe and juicy apples under running water, wipe dry with a paper towel and peel and peel the inner seeds. Grate the remaining apple pulp on a coarse grater or finely chop it with a sharp knife.
4. The finished sheet of lavash (you can buy it in the store in advance) spread out on the work surface and evenly distribute the crushed apple over the entire area of the lavash. Sprinkle the apple with ground cinnamon and soft dried raisins on top. If the apple is sour, then you can also sprinkle sugar (optional).
5. Cottage cheese (you can take any fat content) mash with a fork or grind in a blender and put an even layer on top of apples and raisins.
6. Taking hold of the edge of the pita bread on one side, carefully so that the filling does not come out, roll it to the other edge. It will turn out a kind of roll. Bend the ends of the roll.
7. Beat the egg yolk in a small container with a hand whisk. Then cover the rolled pita bread roll with egg mixture. Thanks to this action, the roll will turn out with an appetizing glossy surface.
8. Cover the baking sheet with baking paper and carefully transfer the wrapped roll onto it. Then put in a preheated oven to bake for about 15 minutes until golden brown on top.
Get the finished roll of pita bread, apples and cottage cheese out of the oven, cool on the grill and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve with hot tea, cocoa or aromatic coffee.
Bon appetit!
