Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to make pita bread with egg in the oven? Prepare the products. You can cook with or without ham. It will turn out delicious with different vegetables - tomatoes, peppers, cauliflower, beans. The main two ingredients for the filling remain - eggs and cheese. You can cook an egg in the form of scrambled eggs and in the form of an omelet. For the omelet, take some milk. Put the salt carefully - the cheese and ham are salty. Take any greens.
Step 2:
You will need oven molds. Cocoanuts for Julienne are well suited. Cut the pita bread into squares. Estimate the size of the pita bread in advance so that it not only takes up the entire shape, but also goes beyond it. My molds are 10 * 5 cm in size, I cut the pita bread with a square with a side of 18 cm. Put the pita bread in molds, forming baskets.
Step 3:
Cut the ham into cubes.
Step 4:
Grate the cheese on a fine grater.
Step 5:
Finely chop the washed and dried greens.
Step 6:
Put all the filling products in one bowl, mix.
Step 7:
Fill the baskets with stuffing.
Step 8:
Break the eggs into a bowl, add a little salt. Beat the eggs with a whisk. If you want an omelet, then pour the milk.
Step 9:
Pour the eggs into the baskets.
Step 10:
Bake the eggs in an oven preheated to 180 °C for 15 minutes. They should grip well and not be liquid.
Step 11:
Remove the molds with baskets from the oven. Carefully, so as not to break the pita bread, remove the baskets from the molds. Serve immediately.
We really liked this breakfast option! Pita bread is fried, it becomes crispy. The scrambled eggs turn out juicy, fragrant. And it is prepared very quickly.
How do I know if an egg is fresh? Break it into a separate container. First of all, there should be no unpleasant smell. The protein of fresh eggs will be transparent and clean. The yolk should not spread and will be shiny, convex, homogeneous.
Be sure to wash the eggs before use, as even the seemingly clean shell may contain harmful bacteria. It is best to use food detergents and a brush.
How to choose the right pita bread? First of all, look at the date of manufacture on the package. Do not take expired pastries. Fresh pita bread should have a pleasant smell. Take a good look so that there are no stains and signs of mold on it.
