Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
To prepare this dish, take medium-sized potatoes so that all the tubers are approximately the same size. Peel and rinse the potatoes.
Step 2:
Cut the potatoes into slices. Rinse to wash off excess starch. Then put it on a paper towel and soak all the moisture from their surface well.
Step 3:
Put all the potato slices in a bowl. Pour vegetable oil over it. Sprinkle salt, pepper, dry garlic and spices to taste. Mix everything well so that all the potato pieces are evenly covered with the mixture. Then put the potatoes on a prepared baking sheet, greased with oil.
Step 4:
Wash the chicken pieces and, also, dry them very well with a paper towel.
Step 5:
Roll chicken pieces in the remaining potato oil mixture. Make sure that it is evenly covered with oil over the entire surface.
Step 6:
Put the chicken on a baking sheet with potatoes. Spread everything evenly over the entire surface of the baking sheet so that the contents lie freely. Place a baking sheet with potatoes and chicken in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, for 40-50 minutes.
Step 7:
Remove the baking tray with the finished dish from the oven and place it on plates. When serving, you can sprinkle a little with herbs. Bon appetit!
Chicken goes well with various vegetables. The most common addition to it is potatoes.
Chicken with potatoes in the oven can be cooked in several ways, while getting a new dish with a new taste each time. But a chicken with an appetizing, crispy crust breaks all records of popularity in our family.
Due to the fact that the potatoes and chicken pieces are evenly covered with oil, when baking, all the juices remain inside the pieces. A golden crust forms on the outside, and a tender pulp remains inside.
This is a great dish for both a family dinner and a treat for friends.
Add some fresh vegetables or herbs to the finished dish.
