Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to make potatoes with honeydew in the oven? Prepare the products according to the list. Thoroughly wash the potatoes in advance with a brush under running water. If you have frozen mushrooms, like mine, then defrost them slightly (put them on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator for a few hours).
Step 2:
Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin slices. Boil the potatoes until they are half cooked, put them in a saucepan and pour boiling water. Or put it in the microwave if you want to reduce the cooking time.
Step 3:
Dice the peeled onion.
Step 4:
Cut the mushrooms into medium-sized pieces too. I have frozen honey mushrooms and their plump legs.
Step 5:
Fry the prepared onion in vegetable oil in a preheated frying pan, add the mushrooms. Continue frying until the liquid has completely evaporated. Add salt.
Step 6:
Put the potatoes in a baking dish, greased with oil.
Step 7:
Season it with salt and pepper.
Step 8:
Place the mushrooms fried with onions on top.
Step 9:
Add sour cream.
Step 10:
Pour in a little water - 0.5 cups, so that the potatoes are well cooked.
Step 11:
Bake the dish in an oven heated to 200 degrees, without covering, for 20 minutes. Then reduce the heat to 170 and continue baking until the potatoes are ready and lightly browned.
Step 12:
Serve it better right away - the aroma spreads so that no one can resist! Bon appetit!
This is a very common dish in our country. It is especially popular in autumn. More often, potatoes with sour cream and mushrooms are fried simply in a frying pan, but it's better not to be lazy and turn on the oven - it's much tastier and healthier this way. And you can serve such a dish simply with herbs, or by adding a salad of fresh vegetables, and in winter it is good to serve pickles and marinades. Try it, bon appetit!
Keep in mind that everyone's ovens are different. The temperature and cooking time may differ from those specified in the recipe. To make any baked dish successful, use useful information about the features of ovens !
So that the mucous membrane of the eyes is not irritated when slicing onions, rinse the onion and knife with cold water. The cutting board will not absorb the unpleasant onion smell if you rub it with a piece of lemon before slicing.
