Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 25 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

How to make sesame cookies? Prepare the necessary ingredients. Butter should be of high quality, corresponding to GOST. Take it out of the refrigerator in advance so that it has time to soften. Wheat flour of the highest grade can be replaced with whole grain or flour of the first grade.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Put the soft butter in a bowl, add sugar or sweetener, which is not afraid of heat treatment.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Add vanilla sugar or vanilla on the tip of a knife. Be careful with the dosage of vanillin, because if you overdo it, the taste of baking will be spoiled.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Rub the oil mixture with a fork until smooth.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Beat in one egg. Mix it up. Be sure to wash chicken eggs before use, as even seemingly clean shells may contain harmful bacteria. Use food detergents and a brush.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

    Mix the mass.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

In a separate bowl, combine all the remaining dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, salt. Be sure to sift the flour to enrich it with oxygen, then the baking will turn out to be airy and will rise well during the baking process. Pre-mix the baking powder with a small amount of flour and add it to the dough, so it is better distributed over the dough.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

Combine dry ingredients with liquid. Flour and baking powder can be immediately sifted into the egg-oil mixture.

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9.

Mix the dough well. Its consistency turns out to be quite viscous, thick and sticky.

  10. Step 10:

    Step 10.

Add sesame seeds to the dough.

  11. Step 11:

    Step 11.

Mix – and our dough is ready!

  12. Step 12:

    Step 12.

Cover the baking sheet with oiled parchment paper. Spread the walnut-sized dough with a teaspoon at a great distance from each other, since the cookies spread out very much on the baking sheet during baking and this should be taken into account. I baked in two batches, since all the blanks did not fit on one baking sheet.

  13. Step 13:

    Step 13.

In order for the oven to have time to warm up to the desired temperature, turn it on in advance, 10-20 minutes before cooking. Bake cookies at 180 degrees in the oven until golden brown. Make sure that it does not burn at the edges.

  14. Step 14:

    Step 14.

Taking out the baking tray with the finished cookies from the oven, let it cool down. Cookies in hot form are soft and sticky, but as soon as they cool down, they turn into crispy and are easily removed from the parchment.

  15. Step 15:

    Step 15.

Brew tea and help yourself. The main thing is to stop in time and not eat everything at once, since cookies are quite high in calories!

  16. Step 16:

    Step 16.

    Have a nice tea party!

Baking powder can be replaced with baking soda (1 teaspoon), extinguished with 3% vinegar (1 tablespoon).

Is it possible to replace baking powder with soda, how to add them correctly so that the baking is lush, how to avoid unpleasant soda flavor and much more, read the article "Baking powder or baking soda - which is better?"

Be prepared for the fact that flour may need more or less than indicated in the recipe. Focus not on the amount of flour, but on the desired consistency of the dough. To avoid mistakes, read about flour and its properties!
