Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 45 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

Prepare the ingredients. There is nothing to worry about, if the sour cream is not very fresh, the sour cream with sourness will make the dough even sweeter and softer. Therefore, to prepare the dough, you can safely send the sour cream remaining from other dishes.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

We drive chicken eggs into a bowl. Add sugar and a pinch of vanilla. It is better to drive chicken eggs one at a time, beating the mixture each time.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Beat the ingredients with a mixer or a hand whisk until a homogeneous mixture is obtained with the formation of foam on the surface and light thickening.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Add sour cream to a bowl with egg mixture. Cookies, of course, will turn out to be richer and softer if you use rustic natural sour cream, but ordinary sour cream with any percentage of fat content will also work, just cookies will turn out to be harder and drier if the sour cream is liquid and not very greasy. Add half a teaspoon of soda, mix.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Pour in wheat flour (it must be sifted to saturate the flour with oxygen, this also affects the softness of the cookies). You do not need to immediately pour all the measured amount of flour into a bowl with a liquid mixture, because the density of flour varies from manufacturer to manufacturer. Some flour will take a little more to prepare the dough, some less. Therefore, we pour the flour in parts, quickly mixing the dough.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

It should be soft and obedient. It is not necessary to knead the dough with your hands for a long time, otherwise the cookies will turn out solid. The dough is ready for baking cookies, it is not necessary to cool it in the refrigerator. The dough can simply be rolled into a sausage and cut into pieces, or rolled into a layer about 1 centimeter thick and cut out with molds or a glass of figurines, mugs.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

We spread the cookie blanks on a greased baking sheet. You can sprinkle sugar, poppy seeds or sesame seeds on top, who likes what. We put the cookies in the oven, heated to 180 degrees, for 20 minutes. Cookies should be slightly browned, it is impossible to keep it in the oven for a long time, so that it does not become hard.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

We take the baking sheet out of the oven, remove the cookies from the baking sheet, let it cool and serve it to the table, with tea, coffee or milk. Have a nice tea party!
