Step 1:
How to make apples in caramel? Prepare the products according to the list. Apples are better to take a small size, so it will be more convenient to eat them and dip them in caramel. Take any color of the dye, you can cook caramel of different colors if you make a large portion of apples at once.

Wash the apples very well. Now they are sold with a waxy coating on top, caramel will not stick on it. Wash the apples with soda, hot water. You can rub them with a brush. Wipe the apples thoroughly, remove the stalks from both sides. Put it in the refrigerator, the caramel will fall better on cold fruits.
Step 3:
Dissolve the food coloring you have chosen in water. You should get a rich, bright color.
Step 4:
Take a saucepan high enough and not too wide, hoping that the apple in it will have to fit almost everything in height. Pour sugar into a saucepan, pour in colored water. Put the pan on a low heat.
Step 5:
With constant stirring, dissolve the sugar, bring to a boil. Do not stir any more, let the caramel boil. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
Step 6:
Remove the caramel from the heat. It will continue to boil violently for a while, this is normal.
Step 7:
We need to wait for the moment when the bubbles leave the surface. But do not cool the caramel too much, otherwise it will start to harden. You can pierce small bubbles with a fork.
Step 8:
While the caramel boils and then calms down, take the apples out of the refrigerator and stick the sticks in them. It should be inserted deep enough so that the stick reaches beyond the middle of the fetus and sits tightly.
Step 9:
Take a flat plate and smear it with a thin layer of odorless vegetable oil. Prepare a bowl with pastry sprinkles. You can skip this step if you don't want to use sprinkling.
Step 10:
Take an apple by the stick and dip it into warm caramel, scrolling several times. If there is not enough caramel in the pan, tilt the dishes, trying to apply caramel to the entire surface of the apple.
Step 11:
Then lower the apple into the pastry topping. You can just sprinkle it on top, as you like it best. Transfer the apple to a previously prepared flat plate.
Step 12:
When all the apples are ready, you can leave them to dry upside down. I stuck them into the pumpkin with chopsticks. After drying, the caramel will become hard and you can turn them over. Bon appetit!
I got apples from the second time. Caramel didn't want to lie down on them and kept moving out. If you have similar problems, then cook the caramel longer and / or take less water, then everything will work out.
It is better to decorate apples with sprinkles already in an inverted state, so it will be more accurate.
As a decoration, you can take nuts, chocolate, coconut chips, chopped waffles.
For cooking, it is better to use filtered or bottled water that is neutral to taste. If you use tap water, keep in mind that it can give the dish an unpleasant characteristic taste.
