Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Prepare the brownie products.
Step 2:
Take a bowl, break the chocolate into small pieces into it. Add the butter, also cut into pieces.
Step 3:
Boil ordinary water in a saucepan, put a bowl of chocolate on top. This construction is called a "water bath", so the chocolate will melt in steam from boiling water. An important condition is that the bottom of the bowl should not touch the water. And also, do not take glassware for these purposes. My bowl burst in the process, I had to pour everything into another one.
Step 4:
With constant stirring, melt the chocolate with butter until smooth. Remove the dishes with the chocolate mass from the water bath and cool.
Step 5:
While the chocolate is cooling, beat the eggs with powdered sugar until a fluffy light mass.
Step 6:
Pour the cooled chocolate into the eggs, mix everything with a spatula.
Step 7:
Sift flour and cocoa into a separate bowl. Add a pinch of salt. Salt in desserts enhances the chocolate taste, be sure to add it.
Step 8:
Pour the dry mixture into the egg-chocolate mixture. Using a spatula, mix everything until smooth.
Step 9:
Take a baking dish, lay it out with baking paper. To make the paper fit better, first fold it. Pour out the dough, spread it evenly with a spatula.
Step 10:
Bake the brownies in a preheated oven at 180 °C for about 20-30 minutes. In the case of brownies, readiness is not determined with a toothpick, I advise you to focus on 25 minutes of baking. If it is overexposed in the oven, it will turn out dry. You can serve brownies both warm and completely cooled down. Add a scoop of ice cream to the warm brownie when serving.
I baked brownies in the form of 20 * 22 cm. We really love this dessert, I cook it often according to different recipes. This recipe is one of the most successful.
The taste of the finished dessert is determined primarily by chocolate. Therefore, choose only a good quality product. You can use not only bitter, but also milk chocolate, and even white. Brownies with white chocolate are called "blondie".
Brownies are often baked with the addition of nuts, cream cheese or berries.
