Step 1:
In order to bake bagels, you need to take a minimum of available products: butter, sour cream, flour, soda + any vinegar (or baking powder) and marmalades for filling.
Step 2:
Cut the butter into cubes and add sour cream.
Step 3:
Then extinguish the soda with vinegar and pour into the dough. Gradually add flour.
Step 4:
You will get a soft elastic dough. Wrap it in plastic wrap and put it in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes.
Step 5:
Then roll out the dough into a layer 0.4-0.5 cm thick, cut into sharp-angled triangles. Put the marmalade on the wide edge and roll it into a tube, forming bagels.
Step 6:
Bake until slightly pink in a 180 degree heated oven for 15-20 minutes.
Step 7:
Sprinkle the finished bagels with powdered sugar for beauty and appetitiousness. Brew fresh tea and serve shortbread bagels with marmalade for tea!
