Cooking method
As for the Mexican mixture, it will serve as an excellent vitamin side dish for meat, which neither adults nor children will be able to refuse. Its charm is also that the ingredients do not require pre-defrosting before cooking, it saves a lot of time. It is not necessary to use a mixture of spices for chicken, it is optional. So, let's start cooking, and it starts with chicken:
- we inspect chicken legs, if there are feathers on the skin in some places, we must remove them, it is very convenient to do this with tweezers;
- then wash the hams, dry them with paper towels, put them in a bowl;
- in a separate bowl, combine ketchup and mayonnaise, mix, add a small amount of a mixture of spices for chicken, garlic powder, as well as salt and ground black pepper to taste to the resulting mixture;
- mix the ingredients in the bowl thoroughly until smooth and generously lubricate the previously prepared chicken legs with it;
- cover the bowl with the hams with cling film, if there is a lid, it's generally wonderful, we send it to the refrigerator for one and a half to two hours so that the chicken has time to marinate properly;
- pickled chicken legs are placed in a baking dish, we also spread the Mexican mixture here;
- we send the form to the oven preheated to 200 degrees, bake for half an hour, the cooking time may vary plus or minus five minutes, it directly depends on the type and power of the oven.
We serve the dish on the table immediately after cooking.
Bon appetit!
