Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
In a deep dish, beat the eggs and add sugar, beat with a mixer at high speed until a fluffy mass is formed.
Step 2:
Sift flour and cocoa into a bowl with egg mixture, add a pinch of salt and soda, quenched with vinegar.
Step 3:
Mix the dough with a mixer at low speed to remove all lumps.
Step 4:
We prepare a baking dish: we line it with parchment paper and lubricate it with vegetable or butter. I cut out a circle for the bottom and a stripe for the sides. I have a detachable form, very convenient. Pour out the dough, which should be evenly distributed over the form. The smaller the shape in diameter, the higher the sponge cake will turn out.
Step 5:
Bake the cake in the oven at 180 degrees for 25-30 minutes. I put a baking tray with water on the bottom of the oven. The oven door cannot be opened for the first 20 minutes, otherwise the biscuit will settle. We check the readiness with a toothpick. We take the finished cake out of the oven and take it out of the mold, let it cool down a little.
Step 6:
While the cake is cooling, prepare the cream. To do this, beat boiled condensed milk with a mixer and melted butter in a natural way (at room temperature). The cream should be quite lush.
Step 7:
Divide the cake into two parts across with a knife or thread, lubricate the lower part with cream.
Step 8:
Prepare the banana immediately before use, so that it does not darken in advance. Just clean it and cut it into oblong or round pieces.
Step 9:
We spread the banana slices on the cream, put another layer of cream on top for better adhesion between the cakes.
Step 10:
Cover the bottom cake with the top.
Step 11:
Grease the cake with the remaining cream from all sides.
Step 12:
Nuts are crushed in a convenient way. I laid them out on a shelf, covered them with a bag and crushed them with a kitchen hammer.
Step 13:
Sprinkle the cake with nuts and let it soak for a while.
A delicious and satisfying treat for tea.
