Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
We will need the finished puff pastry. You can take any, yeast or not. Although yeast puff pastry pies are more delicious. Take the dough out of the refrigerator immediately before cooking. So it will roll out better. And yes, the dough can be purchased or homemade.
Step 2:
Suluguni or any other cheese of your choice, cut into plates. Absolutely any cheese that is in the refrigerator is suitable here, even cream cheese or Druzhba cheese.
Step 3:
Ham is also cut into plates according to the size of the future pie. We need this piece to fit completely inside the pie. Choose the shape of the slicing to your taste, you can at least cut into circles)) Instead of ham, you can take boiled or any other sausage, sausages, sausages (peeled from the skin and film).
Step 4:
Roll out the finished puff pastry into a rectangle. For me, the finished dough is just a godsend! I always have it in stock in the freezer for recipes in a hurry. But of course, for this recipe, the dough can be prepared independently, which I also sometimes do! But the guests are already on the threshold;-)
Step 5:
Cut a large rectangle into small portions.
Step 6:
We put cheese on one side and ham on top
Step 7:
Fold the rectangle of dough in half and pinch the edges - that's what cute pies turn out!
Step 8:
We do the same with the second layer of dough!
Step 9:
We put the finished pies on a baking sheet covered with baking parchment and greased with vegetable oil. During the baking process, they increase in size - so you don't need to stack tightly, keep this in mind!
Step 10:
Beat the egg a little with a fork.
Step 11:
And grease the pies with beaten egg. This will give the baking gloss and brightness. You can, of course, do without it, but the pies will not be so beautiful.
Step 12:
Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and put in a preheated oven to 180-200 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Bake until golden brown) Sesame seeds can not be sprinkled, however, it is not essential. But again - it tastes better with it!
Step 13:
Puff pastry pies with ham and cheese are ready!
Step 14:
Guests have been enjoying the amazing aroma of baking for a long time - feed them soon!
Step 15:
And this is how they look inside!
Step 16:
Mmmmm... Well, very tasty! By the way, in addition to ham and cheese, you can add greens, onions, tomato pulp and so on to the pies.
It took 10 minutes to prepare and 15 minutes to bake - and while we exchanged a couple of fresh news, the pies were already ready! Great, isn't it?
