Strudel with raisins

Thin dough and an abundance of vitamin filling - delicious pastries! Strudel with raisins and nuts will be a wonderful addition to tea, it's not a shame to treat guests with such pastries. To make the strudel sweeter and juicier, you can use more jam, but keep in mind that the jam must be very thick, otherwise everything will leak out during the baking process.

Cooking method

1. Put dried apricots and raisins in a bowl, pour boiling water, leave for 20 minutes to swell, then drain the water, put the dried fruits on a clean kitchen towel so that they dry out.

2. Nuts are fried in a dry frying pan without adding oil, then cooled and chopped with a knife coarsely, it is not worth much to grind. Dried apricots are also cut into small pieces with a knife.

3. Roll out the dough thinly, lubricate with plum jam, spread raisins, dried apricots, nuts, evenly distribute.

4. We form a roll, pinch the edges, carefully transfer the workpiece to a baking sheet previously lined with parchment, lubricate with egg yolk, make incisions on the surface.

5. We send the baking sheet into the oven preheated to 180 degrees, bake the strudel for 25 minutes, until a beautiful golden crust.

Sprinkle the cooled strudel with powdered sugar, cut into pieces and serve with tea.
