Composition / ingredients
Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Ingredients.
Step 2:
Prepare the dough. Rub the eggs with sugar.
Step 3:
Then add the melted butter, stir.
Step 4:
Next add sour cream and honey.
Step 5:
Stir in the flour and soda. The dough will turn out to be viscous and sticky.
Step 6:
Add the walnuts chopped with a knife (half of the portion, leave the rest to decorate the cake) and mix. Divide the dough into 3 parts.
Step 7:
Grease the form or baking sheet with oil (you can line it with parchment paper). Take 1 part of the dough and smooth it out in the form of a circle, moisten your hands with water so that the dough does not stick. Put it to bake in a preheated 200 degree oven for 15 minutes (you can immediately put 2 cakes to bake). Leave the finished 3 cakes to cool.
Step 8:
Preparing the cream. Beat the sour cream, gradually adding powdered sugar.
Step 9:
We smear the cakes with cream. For convenience, you can put on a removable ring shape.
Step 10:
Then with a spatula we smear the edges of the cake with cream.
Step 11:
Decorate the sides and top of the cake with the remaining nuts. We send the cake to the refrigerator to solidify the cream.
Step 12:
Ingredients for baking roses.
Step 13:
Rub the eggs with sugar.
Step 14:
Mix flour with vanilla.
Step 15:
The dough will turn out liquid, like sour cream.
Step 16:
Grease the baking sheet with oil and spread the dough for 5 petals with a teaspoon. Put in a preheated 200 degree oven for 5 minutes. The edges should turn brown, like pancakes.
Step 17:
Roses need to be made immediately while the baking is hot, then it hardens, and it will not be possible to form roses. As soon as we took the mold out of the oven, we tuck the baking with a spatula, roll up 1 petal – this is the middle of the rose, attach the rest of the petals around. We hold it with a towel so as not to get burned.
Step 18:
Bend the top of the extreme petals slightly to make an open rose. While forming a rose, the petals cool and harden.
Step 19:
Then bake the next 5 petals, form a rose and so on, make a few more roses.
Step 20:
Decorate the cake with roses. We leave the cake to infuse for impregnation.
Step 21:
Have a nice tea party to you!
The size of the rose will depend on the amount of dough that you pour for baking. The dough spreads during baking, so to get small roses, take an incomplete teaspoon.
