Cooking method
First of all, it is necessary to turn on the oven at 180-200 degrees Celsius, depending on the power of the oven and the selected baking mode. The ideal in this case will be the baking mode from above and below.
Next, you should clean the trout fillet from fish scales, it is not necessary to remove the skin at the same time. Thoroughly rinse the fish fillets under running cold water and wipe dry with paper towels or thick napkins. Then cut it into steaks. If ready-made steaks are used, then just wash them and dry them with towels.
In a separate container, mix sea salt, freshly ground black pepper and other dry spices to your liking. It is better if they are combined with fish dishes and complement their taste, for example, thyme, fennel, tarragon and others. Ready-made mixtures of various seasonings for fish dishes can be purchased at the store. Stir all the ingredients together, and then rub the fish fillet well on all sides with seasonings.
Choose a suitable form for baking fish fillets. It can be a cast-iron frying pan or a form of fire-resistant glass. Grease the bottom of the selected dish with olive oil and put the seasoned trout steaks in it. Pour the remaining oil over the top and sides of the fish fillet.
Next, you will need cheese with white mold for this dish. Brie cheese is ideal in this case, it goes well with red fish and behaves perfectly during baking. You need to cut it into small slices, for this it is better to use a special cheese knife. You can take any cheese to your liking.
Put the sliced slices of brie cheese on top of the trout fillet. Then put rosemary sprigs on the fish.
Put the fish to bake in a preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fish fillet. The readiness of trout is determined by the color of its meat - it becomes yellow-pink.
Ready-baked trout steaks with cheese with white mold can be sprinkled with paprika if desired. This fish is ideally combined with baked or boiled vegetables, rice or spaghetti.
