Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Beat eggs with sugar with a blender or mixer until the sugar is completely dissolved, add honey. If the honey is thick, then you need to make it liquid in a water bath. Beat everything thoroughly until foam appears on the surface of the mixture.
Step 2:
Pour in the sifted flour, gently mix the dough with a spoon. Add the soda, slaked with vinegar, and mix.
Step 3:
Let's move on to baking cakes. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. If you want the cakes to be thick and fluffy, then divide the dough into two parts and bake two cakes (bake for about 15 minutes each). If you want the cake to be taller and the cakes thinner, then divide the dough into four parts and bake four cakes for 7 minutes each. The dough is very sticky, so we put it in a greased form with a spoon, distributing it evenly over the form.
Step 4:
We cool the finished cakes, cut them out on a plate of the desired size. The trim will go to the crumbs for sprinkling the cake. Grind it with a rolling pin.
Step 5:
Wash and dry the walnut in the oven or frying pan. Grind with a rolling pin and mix with crumbs-sprinkles. We prepare the cream. Beat softened butter with condensed milk with the addition of cocoa powder, it is better to use natural dark powder, without various additives. Let the cream thicken a little, after cooling down in the refrigerator.
Step 6:
Proceed to assembling the cake. We impregnate the cakes with sugar or any other syrup if desired. We apply a layer of cream to the bottom cake. Cover with the second (if there are more of them, all subsequent ones), lubricate with cream.
Step 7:
The sides of the cake are also smeared with cream. Sprinkle the top of the cake and sides with sprinkles. Decorate with poppy flowers from fudge or in any other way. Have a nice tea party!
Be prepared for the fact that you may need more or less flour than indicated in the recipe. Focus not on the amount of flour, but on the desired consistency of the dough. To avoid mistakes, read about flour and its properties!
