Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 1 h
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

    Unwrap the pita bread.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Heat up a frying pan with vegetable oil, put the minced meat, salt and pepper it, pour in 60-80 grams of water and start kneading it with a rolling pin, simmer until ready. Fry the chopped onion separately, then add it to the minced meat and mix. We spread the minced meat on the pita bread. The layer should not be thick. You can divide the filling into three equal parts. Instead of minced meat, you can take ham, sausage, cheese or cottage cheese.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Sprinkle cheese on top of minced meat.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

    Followed by chopped dill.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Next, lay out the sliced tomatoes. Lubricate with mayonnaise.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Roll the pita bread into a roll. Even if it breaks, it's okay.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Grease the baking dish with butter or vegetable oil, sprinkle with breadcrumbs. We put a roll in a container. In the same way, we make the rest of the rolls and put them tightly into the mold (as shown in the photo).

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

We prepare the filling for our pie. Beat the eggs into a bowl, add sour cream.

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9.

Beat everything well with a broom.

  10. Step 10:

    Step 10.

Grate the cheese on a coarse grater and add it to the egg-sour cream mixture.

  11. Step 11:

    Step 11.

Add salt and ground black pepper to taste (you can take a mixture of ground peppers) so that the filling does not turn out to be fresh. And once again, mix everything thoroughly. The fill is ready.

  12. Step 12:

    Step 12.

Fill the rolls with filling. Bake everything in the oven until ready at 180 degrees. It will take 20 minutes.

  13. Step 13:

    Step 13.

Here's a ruddy pie we got. I used to cook only rolls with different fillings from lavash, but my godmother told me how to bake a pie from lavash with minced meat, who, like me, loves to cook unsweetened pastries in a hurry. Now cut off a piece without waiting for the cake to cool down - it tastes better when hot or warm.

The uniqueness of this pie is that you do not need to make dough for its preparation - the basis will be the usual thin Armenian lavash. It will be soaked with the filling and become soft. Pita bread pie with meat can be made both for the weekend for yourself and your family, and for holidays of any format. Help yourself!
