Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
To make a sponge cake, beat the eggs with sugar for a few minutes. In the process of whipping, they will increase in volume and become very lush.
Step 2:
Separately, bring the butter and milk to a boil. Sift the flour with soda and vanilla through a sieve. Mix the flour and milk mixture alternately with the beaten eggs.
Step 3:
The finished dough should remain fluffy and airy.
Step 4:
Pour the finished dough on three baking sheets covered with baking paper and bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 20 minutes each. Cool the finished biscuits.
Step 5:
To prepare the filling, peel the oranges and cut the pulp into pieces. Add sugar and starch to them and mix well.
Step 6:
With constant stirring, bring the mass to a boil. When heated, the filling will become thick. Cool the finished filling.
Step 7:
Cut out the outline of Mickey Mouse from the cooled sponge cakes.
Step 8:
For the cream, whisk the cream, with a fat content of 33%, together with powdered sugar. The cream should be stable and airy.
Step 9:
Orange juice can be used to impregnate the biscuit. Soak the sponge cakes and smear them with cream. Put the orange filling on the cream, evenly distributing it over the entire surface. But do not reach the edges so that the filling does not leak out during assembly.
Step 10:
So collect the whole cake. Cover the top and sides of the cake with cream and put it in the refrigerator for a few hours for impregnation and solidification.
Step 11:
To decorate, melt the chocolate with the addition of a small amount of cream. Cool it down. Draw all the contours with chocolate.
Step 12:
For the exterior design, prepare a cream of heavy cream and powdered sugar. Whisk them together until a stable cream. Color the cream in parts with dyes of the necessary colors and decorate the cake over the entire surface. Put the cake in the refrigerator, at least for an hour, so that the decoration freezes a little. Have a nice tea party!
In the filling, instead of oranges, you can use any other fruits or berries.
