The main feature of these buns is their unusual color. You can achieve such a rich black color by using the appropriate food coloring. It can be purchased in special sections of supermarkets or in bakers' shops. The amount of dye may differ from that specified in the recipe and depends on the specific brand and the saturation of the pigment. To get the desired color of the buns, it is recommended to add it a little bit into the dough until you achieve the desired result.

To make black buns, it is necessary to follow the same scheme as with ordinary burger buns. Pre-sift the wheat flour into a bowl. Mix it with salt and sugar, add instant yeast.

Warm up the milk to a warm state (the temperature is about 35 degrees Celsius). Pour warm milk into a bowl with dry ingredients and mix well. Add odorless vegetable oil.

Add black food coloring to a bowl and mix it in a bowl with other ingredients.

Knead a soft and elastic dough with your hands, if necessary, add more wheat flour. To prevent the black dye from smearing your hands too much, you can pre-lubricate them with vegetable oil.

Form a ball of dough and wrap it in plastic wrap so that it does not dry out. Leave in a warm place for about an hour to increase.

After the dough has doubled in size, divide it into equal parts and roll them into round buns. Transfer them to a baking sheet, previously covered with parchment, and leave in a warm place for 20-30 minutes.

Turn on the oven at 200 degrees Celsius.

Melt a piece of butter in a water bath and grease the formed buns with it. Sprinkle sesame buns on top.

Put a baking sheet with buns in a preheated oven for 15-20 minutes. Readiness to check with a toothpick.

Bon appetit!
