Cooking method
1. Part of the Oreo cookies (about 300 grams) is crushed with a blender. It can also be crushed with a rolling pin.
2. Melt the butter in the microwave, pour it into the crumbs, mix.
3. In a detachable mold with a diameter of 24 centimeters, we spread the resulting mass, tamp it as tightly as possible.
4. We send the mold with the base to the oven preheated to 180 degrees, bake for 10 minutes.
5. Pour gelatin into a bowl, fill with water according to the instructions on the package. Let it swell for 10-15 minutes.
6. Meanwhile, melt the white chocolate in a water bath. It is better to do this if the chocolate is broken into pieces. You can also melt chocolate in a microwave oven.
7. Swollen gelatin is melted in a water bath or in the same microwave oven. Just do it in a couple of steps for 15-20 seconds, each time taking out a container with gelatin and mixing it. This is necessary in order to prevent boiling.
8. We put the cottage cheese in a bowl, pour powdered sugar here, beat the mass with an immersion blender until a homogeneous consistency. Instead, you can rub the cottage cheese through a sieve a couple of times, but this is longer than working with a blender. Cottage cheese must be at room temperature!
9. Pour melted white chocolate, vanilla extract and melted gelatin into the resulting mass, mix everything well.
10. In a separate container, whisk the cream until fluffy. We gradually introduce them into the cream, mix each time with a silicone spatula.
11. We spread part of the cream on the base, then place the Oreo cookies in a circle. Cover it with a layer of cream, spread another layer of cookies, then spread the remaining cream.
12. We send the cake to the refrigerator overnight (8-10 hours). After the specified time, we remove the cake from the mold. To do this, first draw a knife along the sides of the detachable ring.
13. Decorate the delicacy to your liking. Alternatively, you can decorate with melted bitter chocolate and Oreo cookies.
Tip: to make the cut smooth and beautiful, it is better to cut the cake into portions using a dry hot knife.
Have a nice tea party!
