Step 1:
Prepare the products. The oil should be soft, at room temperature.
Step 2:
Put the cottage cheese in a deep bowl, add sugar, salt, vanilla, orange zest - rub well. Add soft butter, egg - stir.
Step 3:
Add fresh lemon juice - stir.
Step 4:
Gradually add flour sifted with baking powder. When it becomes difficult to stir in a bowl, put the dough on the table and knead well, but not for long. The dough is not sticky, there is no need to dust the flour.
Step 5:
This is how the dough will turn out, quite soft.
Step 6:
Divide the dough in half, wrap in foil and put in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Step 7:
Then roll out, the thickness is about 6 - 7 mm. Cut out cookies.
Step 8:
Dip the top of each in sugar and press lightly so that it does not crumble.
Step 9:
Spread on a baking sheet / I have a mat /. You will get two large baking sheets.
Step 10:
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees in advance, bake until blush / I have 19-20 minutes/. You can easily overexpose, watch out. Cover the finished cookies directly on the baking sheet with a cotton towel, also bake the rest of the cookies.
