Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Products
Step 2:
Grease the mold with oil and sprinkle with flour or semolina. Instead of a rectangular one (I have it measuring 30x21 cm), of course, a round one with a diameter of 24-26 cm will also do.
Step 3:
In a bowl, break the eggs, add sugar, salt, vanilla. Beat lightly with a whisk so that the sugar dissolves.
Step 4:
Then add sour cream and soda slaked with vinegar to the egg mixture.
Step 5:
Sift flour into the resulting mixture.
Step 6:
Knead the dough. The consistency of it should be similar to thick sour cream
Step 7:
Pour the dough into the prepared mold.
Step 8:
And now let's start laying out currants on the surface of the pie. You can spread it out as your heart pleases, and I do it in rows at a distance of 2-3 cm to evenly distribute the berries. And we send the pie to the preheated oven. Bake at 180 degrees for 30 minutes.
Step 9:
When the pie is baked, remove it from the mold and cut into pieces (of any shape). I cut square, because the shape is rectangular.
Step 10:
We put it on a dish, you can sprinkle the cake with powdered sugar on top, it will look even more appetizing!
The pie turns out to be tender, currant berries add notes of sourness to the sweet dough. A very delicious pie for dessert!
