Composition / ingredients
Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Ingredients for the filling.
Step 2:
Peel the banana and cut it into small pieces.
Step 3:
Banana, blueberries, almonds, vanilla and powdered sugar mix.
Step 4:
Eggs are divided into yolks and whites. beat 2 proteins into a foam. In several steps, we introduce the whipped whites into the filling.
Step 5:
Mix well. I couldn't resist adding a little orange peel.
Step 6:
Half of the dough is rolled out 3-4 mm thick. We put it on the bottom of the mold.
Step 7:
Lay out the filling.
Step 8:
Grease the edges of the mold with yolk.
Step 9:
Roll out the second part of the dough and cover the filling. Along the edges of the form we pass with a rolling pin.
Step 10:
Remove excess dough from the edges.
Step 11:
We make notches on the surface of the pie with a sharp knife (we do not cut the dough through). So our pie on top will not deform much.
Step 12:
Bake in a preheated 190 C oven for about 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
Step 13:
We take out the finished cake from the mold, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Step 14:
It is better to serve warm with a ball of ice cream or cream, but it will be very tasty without everything. Bon appetit!
I have a pie mold with a diameter of 24 cm and deep enough, but it's better to bake in a lower form, otherwise the pie is a little difficult to cut, the filling tends to pop out when there is so much of it. A banana in the filling is not necessary at all, but it gives its own special taste, by the way, some people do not like this taste, so decide for yourself.
I used frozen blueberries (I didn't defrost them beforehand).Blueberries, by the way, were not enough for me, and I added another handful of mulberries, you can also add currants or raspberries, in general, what you find in the freezer stocks, then use it. The whipped protein in the filling serves as a binding element, if you are worried that it will be too liquid, you can add a couple of tablespoons of starch, but I didn't do that.
