Composition / ingredients
Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
The ingredients we need (no, only chocolate, more precisely, it is there, but it is not visible when I took a photo, I did not notice something)
Step 2:
To begin with, beat the butter at room temperature with sugar and vanilla sugar (I have vanilla tincture)
Step 3:
Add 2 eggs, beating thoroughly after each.
Step 4:
Sift flour with baking powder and add to the oil mixture.
Step 5:
Knead the thick dough. (I was mixing everything with a mixer, and at the very end I already switched to the shovel, the poor mixer could not cope anymore :))
Step 6:
Now divide the dough into two equal parts. In one add half of the chopped hazelnuts and melted chocolate, knead the chocolate dough.
Step 7:
In the second part, add the remaining hazelnuts and zest.
Step 8:
These are the two koloboks we get. We divide each bun into 2 equal parts, in total we get 4 buns.
Step 9:
We roll out each part into a bundle
Step 10:
We take 2 different sausages and put them together. You can just make it together, you can braid it with a pigtail.
Step 11:
Bake the finished bars in a preheated 180 C oven for about 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
Step 12:
Let the bars cool down a little and cut with a sharp knife into segments about 1.5 cm thick. And dry in the oven at 160 C for about 10-15 minutes.
Step 13:
Ready-made crackers are served to the table, bon appetit!
Biscotti are very fragrant, crispy. They are eaten very quickly. They are delicious and not dried (while sliced, the floor of the bar as it was not, they ate with my husband with pleasure). You can store such cookies for a very long time in a tightly closed tin box, but then you need to hide it far away so that you don't find it by smell :)
