Step-by-step cooking
Mannik cake is one of my children's favorite cooking recipes. It is prepared quickly and easily enough. The food turns out to be airy, very tasty, and most importantly useful. The recipe is simple and not expensive. Try it and you will like it!
First of all, you need to mix sour cream with semolina and put it in the refrigerator for swelling for about an hour. At the end of this time, add the ground eggs with sugar to the swollen mass and mix everything. Add baking powder for the dough, and then flour. Instead of baking powder, you can use 0.5 tablespoons of soda slaked with vinegar. Mix everything together, the dough turns out not thick, like on pancakes.
Grease the mold with oil, pour the dough into it and bake at 180 ° C for 40 minutes.
The finished cake can be poured on top with cream of whipped cream with sugar, or melted dark chocolate, or even just pour jam, it all depends on your taste and imagination. Children are happy to eat this cake in milk, although you can't force them to drink milk with anything else.
Bon appetit!
