Cake with cottage cheese

Incredibly delicate pastries are sure to fall in love with you! I have noticed for a long time that food flavored with alcoholic beverages (not served separately, but directly in the dish) has a special, refined taste. Therefore, recently, any culinary recipe using alcohol has aroused increased interest in me. The same fate befell this cake with cottage cheese from traditional English cuisine, which I found on the world Wide Web.

We start in a completely standard way: rub the softened butter with sugar, drive in one egg each and mix thoroughly with flour (I added baking powder to the flour, although it is not specified in the recipe). Cottage cheese is rubbed with a fork, lightly salted, poured with rum and sent to the bulk. Here we also add well-steamed and dried raisins and pieces of walnuts fried in a frying pan without oil. We get a thick fragrant dough. The density should be such as to calmly form an oblong "brick" from the dough, however, you can make a cupcake in the form of a bun or roll. If there is a suitable form, it will be even better. This is baked for a little less than an hour.
