Step-by-step cooking
To do this, knead the unleavened dough with a considerable amount of sugar and butter. That is, we pour water or milk into a deep vessel. Then add sugar, salt to taste, eggs, butter and mix everything thoroughly with a broom. Pour the sifted wheat flour into the prepared mass and knead the dough so that it lags well behind the walls of the dishes, but also so that it does not stick to the hands. After that, we separate the pieces from the dough by about 200 grams. Roll out the dough with a thickness of about 2 cm. After that, cut into strips about 6 cm wide and 10-15 cm long. From strips of dough, we roll up various shapes of bagels – Shishara. Then we transfer them to a frying pan, grease them with butter and put them in a preheated oven. Pour powdered sugar on the finished shishara. We serve this great food for tea at the festive table. This dish from Tatar cuisine is delightfully combined with various jams or honey. Bon appetit!
