Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Ingredients.
Step 2:
Preparing a sponge cake. Beat the eggs with a whisk, add sugar and vanilla sugar in portions, continuing to beat.
Step 3:
Then pour in portions of flour, mix. Add salt and soda, slaked with vinegar (or citric acid diluted with water).
Step 4:
Stir until smooth, the dough turns out thick and flowing.
Step 5:
Cover the baking sheet with parchment paper, smear with oil. I have a baking sheet measuring 36x24 cm. Pour out the dough and level it with a spoon over the entire surface of the baking sheet. Put the baking sheet in a preheated 180 degree oven, bake for 20-30 minutes.
Step 6:
Preparing the cream. Using a mixer, beat thick cream with powdered sugar. Powdered sugar is gradually poured in portions. I bought homemade cream, it's very thick.
Step 7:
Cover the finished biscuit with a towel and turn it over on a towel. Carefully remove the parchment paper.
Step 8:
Roll the long side into a roll with a towel and leave to cool.
Step 9:
Peel the bananas and align, cut in the places where they are rounded, and turn these pieces in the opposite direction.
Step 10:
We carefully unwrap the cooled biscuit, remove the towel. We smear the entire surface with cream (I left 2 tablespoons of cream for decoration). We spread the banana, roll up the roll.
Step 11:
The top of the roll is smeared with cream.
Step 12:
For decoration, I crushed a waffle bar on a grater with small holes. You can grate chocolate or any other candy.
Step 13:
Evenly sprinkle the roll with the resulting crumbs. We put it in the refrigerator to solidify the cream.
Step 14:
For the convenience of serving, you can cut a long roll in half. Invite everyone to the table, have a nice tea party!
When preparing the cream, keep in mind that it should turn out thick and harden well so that it does not leak out when slicing. To do this, use thick cream, or sour cream, preferably homemade, since they, after standing in the refrigerator, thicken well.
