Composition / ingredients
Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Ingredients. Since the dough is prepared very quickly, we start by preheating the oven, preheating it to 200 C.
Step 2:
We take two containers. In the first, mix all the dry ingredients, sift the flour with baking powder, add sugar and mix.
Step 3:
In the second, mix the liquid ones - kefir (I used homemade yogurt), egg and vegetable oil, mix, no need to beat, just mix everything until smooth.
Step 4:
Add liquid ingredients to the dry mixture. With a large spoon, we mix everything with quick movements.
Step 5:
There is no need to achieve smoothness of the dough, because then the finished muffins will turn out solid, the dough should turn out loose, slightly lumpy.
Step 6:
We put a little dough in the prepared molds to cover the bottom.
Step 7:
We make depressions in the dough, you can use a spoon, or you can just use a finger dipped in water. Put the jam in the recess (I used orange and blueberry).
Step 8:
Cover the jam with dough again on top. We send it to the oven.
Step 9:
Bake muffins for 20-30 minutes (depending on the size) in a preheated oven to 200C. Let it cool slightly and serve it still warm for tea. I got only 10 medium-sized muffins. Enjoy your meal!
