Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Prepare everything you need to make a roll, peel the walnuts.
Step 2:
Prepare the filling for pita bread: combine the cheese mass with sour cream and mix until smooth, sour cream for this recipe is better to take fat. Grate the apples on a coarse grater, add cinnamon and sugar and mix everything thoroughly. Place the walnuts in a bag and chop them with a rolling pin, but not very finely.
Step 3:
We begin to collect the roll. On the kitchen table, we lay out the pita bread and apply the first layer of cottage cheese with sour cream. We distribute evenly throughout the pita bread, leave a strip of pita bread 8-10 cm wide unfilled with filling. The second layer is apple – the worn apple mass is evenly stacked on top of the curd layer. The third layer is spread with chopped walnuts.
Step 4:
Pita bread with filling is rolled into a roll and transferred to a baking sheet, previously covered with baking paper. Beat the egg with a fork and smear a strip of pita bread with beaten egg without filling, fix the roll on top. With the rest of the egg, we lubricate the entire surface of the roll and send it to a preheated 180 degree oven for 30 minutes. Let the baked roll cool down, cut into portions and serve to the table.
