Cooking method
So, we took it upon ourselves to cook a sorrel pie. We prepare the greens by washing and chopping it. Cut the garlic cloves and onion into pieces, adding them to the shapeless green mass.Transfer the crushed pile to the frying pan, add a little water, simmer.
Simmer until the onion and garlic are softened. After that, we transfer them to a sieve, simultaneously getting rid of the broth. Let the future filling cool down, and we move on to the dough.
Kneading flour requires one egg, salt with margarine, and of course flour. Mix the components of the future dough, and proceed to the kneading. At the third cooking point, we return to the filling. The dough moves to the refrigerator shelf.
Knead a mountain of stewed sorrel with onion and garlic with a mixture of beaten egg, cheese crumbs and sour cream. Add salt and nutmeg powder to them. We interfere and come close to the baking stage.
Lubricate the baking dish with vegetable oil. We take the dough out of the refrigerator, let it melt, and distribute it over the entire space of the molds. Spread the filling on top. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. In this heat, sorrel pie will bake in less than an hour. We arrange periodic checks for him while he is baking. The finished dish should change the color of the dough. It will also become stiff and lose its viscosity. We check the degree of baking by poking the pie with a toothpick.
