So, let's prepare an apple strudel from puff pastry.
First peel the apples, remove the cores and seeds from them, and then grate them on a coarse grater. Pour boiling water over the raisins to soften them. Chop the kernels of the nuts and mix together the nuts, raisins and apples. At first it was indicated that it was sweet apples that were needed, but if you don't have them, then add a little more sugar.
Next, spread out the dough on a flat surface and put the filling in the middle of the layer, distribute it over the entire surface and cover with a second layer. Now we are blinding together the upper and lower layer.
Put the strudel on a baking sheet and send it to the oven, preheated to 200 degrees. Now bake it for about half an hour. If it is slightly under-baked, it will be softer, and if over-baked, more crispy.
When the apple strudel is baked, it can be decorated on top at your discretion.
