Cooking method
Despite the fact that pizza comes from Italy, Cubans also sometimes like to eat this dish. Of course, pizza recipes have undergone minor changes, based on the specifics of the taste preferences of local residents and the set of products peculiar to Cuba. The abundance of fresh fish prompted local chefs to create a recipe for pizza with fish in Cuban. First, prepare the dough. We dilute yeast in half a glass of warm water and mix them with sifted flour. Add the remaining half a cup of water and knead the dough, which we leave for an hour. Then add melted butter, lemon juice, eggs, rosemary leaves to the dough. The kneaded dough is left under the lid for 20 minutes.
For the filling, mix the raw fish fillet with chopped onion, add pepper and salt. We form small balls from the dough with a teaspoon and fry them in boiling oil. We take out the ruddy balls with a slotted spoon, dry them on paper and put them in a mold or in a frying pan. We spread minced fish on the balls, which we level on the surface. Bake pizza with fish in the oven.
