Step 1:
How to make pink salmon for a couple?Prepare the products. It is not necessary to take pink salmon fillets, - you can use fish steaks, but it is preferable that the pink salmon is still chilled. If you have only frozen pink salmon, then the main thing is to defrost it correctly. First place the frozen fish in the refrigerator for 5-7 hours, and then defrost at room temperature.
Step 2:
Rinse the pink salmon well, blot it with paper napkins so that the fish does not turn out watery. If necessary, cut into pieces of the desired size. Although pink salmon does not belong to the noble varieties of fish, but we will prepare it so that it will not be inferior in taste to more elite types of fish.
Step 3:
We will only need juice from lemon. Therefore, it is quite possible to use ready-made lemon juice in factory packaging. If you squeeze the juice directly from the citrus, then pre-wash it well with hot water - so the fruit will give much more juice.
Step 4:
Add a little salt to the fish. Do not overdo it with salt - we are still cooking a healthy steamed dish!
Step 5:
Prepare a steamer or a slow cooker where you will cook. Prepare a bowl, pour 250 ml of water into it and the stand itself for laying out the products. I cook fish in a slow cooker in steamed mode.
Step 6:
Put the pieces of fish skin down on the stand. Pepper it a little. You can also add your favorite herbs or seasonings now: for example, fresh thyme and rosemary will come in handy if you like them. Or maybe you will add dry Provencal herbs or garlic powder.
Step 7:
Place the stand on a bowl of water. Cook in Steamed mode. The cooking time depends on the thickness of the fish pieces, but in any case, the fish is cooked quickly enough and you can safely set the time for 25 minutes - and you won't make a mistake, during this time the fish will definitely have time to cook!
Step 8:
Serve the fish immediately to the table immediately when it is hot. Bon appetit!
If you use ready-made spice mixes, be sure to read the composition on the package. Often, salt is already present in such mixtures, take this into account, otherwise you risk over-salting the dish.
