Step 1:
Prepare all the necessary products. Take bigger eggs: it is best if they are homemade, at least with. Butter should be at room temperature, so take it out of the refrigerator in advance. My flour is wheat, but you can use any other: even buckwheat, or rice, - using different types, you can get absolutely different taste of waffles every time.
Step 2:
In a bowl with high sides, mix eggs and sugar. At this stage, lovers of spicy pastries can diversify the traditional taste of waffles and add their favorite spices and seasonings to their taste: vanilla, cinnamon, cloves and ginger will be most appropriate here.
Step 3:
Whisk well until the mass turns white. To do this, it is best to use a mixer, beat well with a whisk is unlikely to work.
Step 4:
Add softened butter, sift flour. I advise you not to neglect this process. Thanks to sifting, the pastry turns out to be more delicate and airy.
Step 5:
Beat the dough well until smooth. As you can see, it turns out quite thick.
Step 6:
Lubricate the electric waffle iron with vegetable oil on each side. To do this, it is best to use a silicone brush, and you can take absolutely any oil: both olive and rapeseed are suitable. Preheat the appliance well enough.
Step 7:
Put a little dough in the center of the frying surface. Cover with a lid, but do not press hard. If pressed hard, the dough will spread over the entire frying surface and the waffles will turn out very thin and fragile. And we bake tender, thick waffles.
Step 8:
Fry for about 4 minutes until golden. It is not necessary to turn anything over, because the waffles are fried from both sides at once.
Step 9:
That's how they turn out.
Step 10:
I cut the waffles into 4 parts, so it's more convenient to eat them. Serve with tea or coffee. Have a nice tea party!
