Step 1:
To cook fish and potatoes in a slow cooker, we will prepare the necessary products according to the list. We will need whole small carcasses of frozen hake. The fish is not completely defrosted, cleaned of scales, if there is one, and carefully remove the fins. We leave the carcasses intact. We also peel potatoes, carrots and onions.
Step 2:
Cut the potatoes into large pieces, as for a roast, carrots into smaller pieces and put everything in a deep container.

Sprinkle the potatoes with carrots with salt and spices, 1 tsp each, the rest is for fish.

Add sunflower oil to the potatoes.

Mix potatoes and carrots with spices, salt and sunflower oil well with your hands.

Then cut the onion into quarter rings.

Chop basil and cilantro with a knife.
Step 8:
We put a layer of onions on the bottom of the bowl of the slow cooker, we do not use the whole onion, we leave half for the fish.
Step 9:
Spread the prepared potatoes with carrots in spices and sunflower oil on the onion.
Step 10:
Hake carcasses are mixed with mayonnaise, chopped cilantro and basil, salt and spices. Gently mix with your hands so that the fish is evenly soaked.
Step 11:
We put the prepared fish on top of the potatoes in the bowl of the slow cooker.
Step 12:
Place the filled bowl in a slow cooker, pour half a cup of water into the bowl and close the lid tightly.
Step 13:
Turn on the slow cooker in the mode of cooking pilaf, porridge or stewing, depending on the model, for 20 minutes.
