Porridge of unpeeled oats

Porridge is synonymous with benefits, strength and energy. This recipe is a storehouse of health! Cereals consist of a large amount of vitamins and all sorts of trace elements. With each processing, cereals lose their qualities, because it's not for nothing that they say that coarse flour is more useful than high-grade flour. So it is with oats. The less it is processed, the greater its benefits. Therefore, I think porridge made from unpeeled oats is more useful.

To prepare porridge according to this recipe, I bought one pack of oatmeal (whole). Then I put it in a bowl, poured warm milk, mixed sugar and salt. Put it in a slow cooker, turned on the "Quenching" mode for 1.5 hours. After an hour and a half, I took it out and added butter. The milk was completely absorbed and acquired such an appetizing caramel color. This porridge tastes and even smells like nothing compared to oatmeal porridge. In some ways it resembles risotto - every grain is "read". Try it and you, I have no doubt that this kind of food will appeal to your whole family, especially children. My husband, who believed that porridge is food for children, and now in the morning asks to cook oatmeal in this way. Bon appetit!
