Harvesting viburnum for the winter is possible in one simple and accessible way - by freezing in the freezer.
Viburnum berries are sorted, thoroughly washed and completely dried, put on a dry clean towel.
The berries prepared in this way are laid out on a cutting board and sent to the freezer. When the viburnum is completely frozen, take it out. And they are laid out in plastic bags with a zipper or plastic containers with a lid. They are also stored in the freezer.

When the berries need to be defrosted, overnight you need to put them on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator.

It is also recommended to boil the berries in boiling water for 5 minutes before freezing – this method is called blanching. However, this is not necessary.
