Lightly salted tomatoes are very popular. The dish is simple, while tasty and healthy. Housewives try to diversify their favorite snack in every possible way. For this purpose, the recipe for stuffed tomatoes was invented. They turn out just great: fragrant, spicy and beautiful! Stuffed tomatoes with herbs. Here you can be guided by your taste preferences, adding and thereby expanding the list of greens for the filling. And there should be a lot of it. It is better to use only fresh herbs, it should not be dried and sluggish.
1. Parsley, dill and cilantro are washed under running water. Then cut very finely. Peel the carrots, grate them.
2. Tomatoes are thoroughly washed, we make a deep cross-shaped incision on each, but not to the end. It turns out like a pocket.
3. Peel the garlic from the husk, pass it through the press.
4. Put the greens in a bowl, put the garlic and carrots here. Mix it up.
5. Fill the tomatoes with the resulting mixture. It is convenient to do this with a coffee spoon, as if pushing the pulp apart.
6. When all the tomatoes are already stuffed, we put them tightly in a jar. Here we also add pepper peas and bay leaf.
7. Pour salt and sugar into a saucepan, fill with water. We send it to the fire, bring it to a boil. Then let it cool down a little.
8. Fill the jar with tomatoes with the resulting brine. Leave for 24 hours at room temperature.
After the specified time, the tomatoes are completely ready for use.
