Cooking method

Cooking time: 30 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1

To make pasta in creamy mushroom sauce, gather your ingredients. Use any shape of pasta you like. Any mushrooms work too. I used wild mushrooms I'd gathered in season, boiled, and frozen. The sour cream can be any fat content, but if it's thick you'll need a little water to thin it.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2

Boil the pasta until tender in salted water, following the package directions. Then drain it in a colander.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3

While the pasta cooks, make the sauce. Peel the onion and rinse it in cold water. Finely chop the onion and sauté it in a hot skillet with a little vegetable oil for 2–3 minutes, until translucent.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4

Before cooking, the mushrooms need to be thawed and drained of excess liquid. Add the mushrooms to the skillet with the onion and cook everything together for 5–7 minutes.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5

You can add thin sour cream straight to the pan; thick sour cream should be thinned with a little water first. Peel and mince the garlic.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6

Add the sour cream, a little salt, and the minced garlic to the mushrooms in the pan. Bring everything to a boil.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7

Add the cooked pasta to the pan, toss everything well, and heat it through. Take the finished dish off the heat, divide it among plates, and serve hot. Enjoy!

  • This sour cream sauce is delicious, silky, and appetizing — the garlic gives it a special zing, and the mushrooms make it filling. The pasta turns out creamy and velvety. You can use this sauce on more than just pasta — it's great with rice or potatoes too. At serving time, sprinkle on some fresh chopped herbs or grated cheese. The dish comes together fast, so it's sure to be a hit. Enjoy — it's really tasty!
