Apples in wine vinegar with maple syrup for winter in jars

Preserve pickled apples - a great addition to meat dishes! A friend from Canada once brought maple syrup and this recipe for pickled apples to it. I tried to cook and was delighted. These apples make very tasty meat dishes. They can be used both in the cooking process and separately as an addition to meat. And the apples themselves are simply delicious!

Cooking method

Cooking time: 50 min

Mix all ingredients except apples in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and cook the syrup over low heat for 20-30 minutes.

Apples do not need to be washed, cleaned and cut out the middle. It is only necessary to cut apples perpendicular to the peduncle into rings 1 cm thick.

Then add the apples to the syrup and boil them in the syrup for another 10 minutes.

Take small cans. If long-term storage is planned, the jars must be sterilized. Arrange the apples in jars, pour the syrup to the top. Roll up the jars with lids. The lids should also be sterilized with boiling water if necessary.

Let the apples cool down under the blanket and can be sent to a storage location.

Have a delicious culinary experience and bon appetit!
