Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 40 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

How to make turkey cutlets for kids? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. Roll the turkey meat through a meat grinder and turn it into minced meat. You can also buy ready-made minced meat. In this case, I prefer to make minced meat on my own, since I know exactly what quality product it is made of.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Soak the loaf in milk and leave it to lie down for a while so that it gets thoroughly soaked.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Place the finished minced turkey in a spacious bowl. Peel the onion, rinse in cold water. You can pass the onion through a meat grinder after the meat or just chop it very finely. Add the chopped onion to the bowl to the minced meat.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Squeeze the soaked loaf from the milk and, having also passed through a meat grinder, add it to the bowl to the meat. A loaf added to the cutlets will make them softer and juicier. Break one egg into a bowl.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Add a little salt to the meat mass. Mix all the ingredients well with each other until smooth. If the minced meat is too thin, then you can add a little semolina to it. Beat the whole meat mass lightly against the bottom of the bowl so that the minced meat becomes more dense and the finished cutlets do not fall apart.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Pour a little vegetable oil into a hot frying pan. With wet hands, make small cutlets, roll them in breadcrumbs and put them in a frying pan. Fry the cutlets on both sides quite a bit so that they are slightly gripped.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Then pour hot water into the pan, cover with a lid and bring them to readiness over low heat. It will be enough to put out the cutlets for 2-3 minutes on each side.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

Ready-made turkey cutlets for children are soft and very tender. A favorite children's side dish is pasta. Add them to the cutlets and call the children to the table. Bon appetit!

Important! An incorrectly selected frying pan can ruin even the best recipe. All the details on how to choose the perfect frying pan for different dishes read here .

Turkey can be replaced with chicken or any other type of meat at your request. But keep in mind that in this case, the cooking time and calorie content of the dish will change.

So that the mucous membrane of the eyes is not irritated when slicing onions, rinse the onion and knife with cold water. The cutting board will not absorb the unpleasant onion smell if you rub it with a piece of lemon before slicing.
