Avocado salad with chicken

The salad turns out to be hearty, bright and festive. For the upcoming New Year holidays, I have prepared a selection of dishes with which you can decorate the festive table. I'll start with two interesting salads. They're both with avocado and chicken, but one has tomatoes and the other has grapefruit. And in each - an interesting and delicious dressing on fruit juice and olive oil. In my opinion, avocado does not go well with mayonnaise, although some cook and they like it. Therefore, I fill all salads with avocado with any sauces, but not with mayonnaise.

    How to make avocado salad with chicken? Prepare the ingredients. Wash the lettuce leaves and tear them into small pieces with your hands.

    Boil the chicken fillet until tender. Cool and cut into small slices.

    Peel the onion and cut into half rings.

    Cut tomatoes into slices.

    Cut the avocado in half, remove the stone and peel. Cut the pulp into small pieces. Immediately sprinkle with lime juice, so as not to darken.

    Combine lime juice with vegetable oil, sugar and salt. Lightly whisk with a fork and leave for 5 minutes to completely dissolve the salt and sugar.

    In a salad bowl, combine chicken, avocado, tomatoes, onions and lettuce leaves. Pour over the dressing and mix gently.

    Sprinkle the salad with freshly ground black pepper and serve.

Choose juicy tomatoes, but dense. Soft fruits do not keep their shape well, in the process of slicing and cooking they will spread into a shapeless mass and spoil the appearance of the dish.

So that the mucous membrane of the eyes is not irritated when slicing onions, rinse the onion and knife with cold water. The cutting board will not absorb the unpleasant onion smell if you rub it with a piece of lemon before slicing.
