Potato croquettes in breadcrumbs

Potato snack is perfect with tomato sauce! The culinary recipe for croquettes comes from Bulgarian cuisine. I tried this dish for the first time in one of the restaurants and since then they have been the decoration of any festive table. Potato croquettes can serve as a side dish to the main dish, or be served as an independent meal.

Potatoes are washed in water, cleaned, and then boiled in salted water until tender, lightly dried and rubbed hot through a sieve or kneaded with a pusher. Cool the mashed potatoes a little and add the egg yolk, melted butter, wheat flour. Mix all the components until a homogeneous consistency. From the resulting potato dough, we make balls, which we first roll in flour, then in beaten egg white and breadcrumbs. Deep-fry the croquettes until golden brown. We drop potato croquettes as a separate dish with any salad. They are also an excellent side dish for baked or fried meat. Bon appetit!
