Step-by-step cooking
Gardeners have a habit of drying fruits in an unpeeled state (with a core and skin). Then they are cut into slices or circles 5 mm thick after washing. Immediately after slicing and peeling, the apples should be immersed in acidified or salted water. Then the fruit is dried in the air for several minutes. When drying them in the air, apple mugs are usually strung on a string, and in the oven – spread the circles on a baking sheet, which is lined with clean paper. The temperature in the dryer should stay around 70-80 0C. Apples are stirred every 3 hours in order to speed up the drying process. Finish drying is at a temperature of 50-55 0C. When drying apples in the air or in a blown attic, it will take a week for the whole process. Thus, we have prepared the ground for a delicious and appetizing meal!
