Cooking method
While studying at the institute and living in a dormitory with other students from different Belarusian cities and rural areas, I first tasted meat dishes of Belarusian cuisine. The girls brought her from home. Their mothers prepared it on their own. And only now, living far from Belarus, I realized how wrong I was then that I didn't ask them for a real culinary recipe. And finally, I found how to cook such a meal at home. It turned out delicious, but it's still not the same Sandwich that I ate in Belarus.
To cook it, take pork meat and sprinkle it with coarse salt, cumin and black pepper. Then put it in a saucepan and leave it under a closed lid at room temperature for a whole day. Turn it over twice a day. After the time has passed, pull it out of the pan and shake off the excess salt. The juice formed in the pan is drained. And pepper the meat again and sprinkle with cumin. Through a meat grinder, scroll the garlic and also sprinkle it on the meat. We put the meat back in the pan, but this time we do not cover it with a lid. We leave it in the room to dry for 2 days. During this time, you can turn it over and drain the juice. After two days, we wrap the meat in gauze and put it in a ventilated and dry place. For example, you can put it on the refrigerator. It should stay there for up to 2 weeks.
Bon appetit!
