Beat the whites into a foam, carefully adding sugar to them. Continuing to beat, we introduce the yolks one by one.

Pour in a thin stream of oil without stopping the mixer.

Sift flour with baking powder. And add it together with the milk to the dough. Divide the dough in half.

Mix the first part with cocoa and two tablespoons of milk.

Oil the mold, sprinkle with flour, line with parchment, pour light dough on top.

We take for this a round shape with a diameter of 26 cm.

We carefully spread the dark dough on top of the white dough.

Defrost the cherries, drain the juice, roll the cherries in flour and distribute evenly over the entire surface of the cake, slightly pressing the cherries into the dough.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and put the mold on for half an hour.

Cream: grind the yolks with sugar, add starch and flour. Mix everything together. Pour in a thin stream of milk, stirring without interruption.

Cook the mixture over low heat until thickened. Then pour vanilla sugar, chocolate, cool and add whipped cream.

Spread the cream on the cake, distributing it evenly over the surface and put it in the refrigerator for half an hour.

We make the glaze. Mix sugar with cocoa, pour in cream. Cook, stirring, until thick. Add butter and vanilla sugar. Fill the cake with icing.

Personally, I decorated my cake with icing lace.
